Here is a gorgeous, antique, 19th century Austrian pedestal open salt made of silver. It bears heard-to-read hallmarks, but looks like it dates from the 1860's. It has a maker's mark, but only the second letter: 'H' is readable. (The marks are very small, and were nearly impossible to read, let alone photograph).<br>It measures 2- 1/4 inches long, by 2 inches wide, and is 1- 1/4 inches tall.<br>It weighs 28.3 grams, or just over 1 ounce.<br>Shipping within the continental US only, will be $5.89.<br>I do not ship directly outside the US.
